A coed summer camp is one that boys and girls both go to and use the same facilities, but typically not at the same time. In coed kids summer camps, the living accommodations for the boys and girls are separate, as are the dining halls in some locations. It is common for families to choose a coed sleepaway camp because they feel that it is more like being out in the real world and if they have boys and girls that are going together, it is a comfort to know that their children will be able to see each other while at camp.

The camping experience at coed camps is a unique one where the children will be able to grow and make lifelong friendships. Their summers will be filled with water sports, land sports, and other camp activities. While at a coed camp, children will learn to be responsible and to become individuals, all while making some great memories, making new friends, and having a lot of fun.
